Aduro Clean Technologies Engages Engineering Firm Exergy Solutions to Assist with Pre-Production Development of Hydrochemolytic™ Technology
Aduro Clean Technologies, a developer of patented water-based molecular recycling technologies that transform waste plastics, heavy crude and renewable oils into new-era resources and higher-value fuels, recently announced that it has engaged Exergy for technology process design work as the Company plans for the next stage of its Hydrochemolytic™ technology development.
Exergy was recently recognized for an innovative project. The months-long collaboration started with an idea from Dr. Steven Roy — an adjustable valve enclosure and ventilator multiplexor for critical ventilator shortages. This device allows individual pressure control for each patient when sharing a single ventilator between multiple patients – something that has not yet been possible when ventilators were being shared during the pandemic.
Exergy Solutions recently purchased a Calibur3 metal AM system. This new process enables parts to be produced for high wear environments where complex geometries and large part sizes are needed for applications across many industry sectors such as oil and gas, minerals processing, forestry, agriculture, pulp and paper, and power generation among others.
First 10-week Applied Virtual Reality Bootcamp pilot kicks off May 3
Exergy Solutions was recently featured in an op-ed discussing how industry can play a role tackling climate change. It noted that Canada’s advanced manufacturing sector is “well-positioned to make the products that allow other firms to reduce emissions and is already taking the lead.”
